Either way is possible. Still, since only one character is allowed per
space, it wouldn't be possible to do actual Sign writing, the best we could
do would be to add SW units to a glossed (in Japanese) text, to cover for
SL words with no corresponding word in Japanese. Since the cueing for the
signers of our translation is now done in glosses, this would be a very
small step toward the freedom to write in SW.

I don't even know if the Kanji add on capability accepts other formats
(gif, bmp, etc.), much less how to get from SW to gif. I'm sure this is why
I'm still a rank computer novice, but I hate trying something for an hour
or two only to find out it can't be done (or I still don't know how, or
whatever). I'm still trying to get our office computer to do my e-mail (off
and on when I'm not working on something else), but when I finish that, I
definitely want to at least try this SW via Japanese MSWord thing.
