Yes, Angus, that is correct. The Hinge Motion is "knuckle joint
only". But the Squeeze Motion involves the middle joints, plus any
other joints that want to "join in the squeeze"....ha!

And there is a third one...the opposite to squeeze, which I am
calling "flick" or "flick-open".

Squeeze....fingers move from an open position to tightly bent.
Flick...fingers move from tightly bent to an open position.
