Dear SignWriting List:
For those new to the SignWriting List..... SignWriting started, back
in 1974. DanceWriting started in 1973. Both SignWriting and
DanceWriting are sections of a larger general movement notation
system, called Sutton Movement Writing:

There are some SignWriting users who are also interested in
DanceWriting, since the two are intertwined...especially when writing
mime or gesture that does occur in signed languages...
Therefore, I will now be announcing a series of new developments on
