SignEditor Keyboard Walkthrough

Open the SignEditor from the Dictionary or a Document

  1. Select a symbol from the Favorites(F5), All(F6) or Search(F7) tabs.
  2. Use the tab key and arrow keys to move arround.  You can choose a favorite from the dropdown box by typing it or hitting Alt-ArrowDown.
  3. Use numbers 1-6 to jump to from one category to the next.
  4. Press Enter to choose the symbol.
  5. A chooser will display to help make choose the actual symbol to add. (A different chooser display depending on the type of symbol you are selecting.  To move to the chooser press F9)
  6. Press Enter to add the symbol to the sign. (To move to the sign area directly press F12)
  7. Selected symbols can be moved to one of nine areas of the sign by using numbers 1-9.
  8. Use the arrow keys to move the selected symbols. 
  9. Use Shift and the arrow keys to move in smaller increments.
  10. Refer to the SignEditor help or right click on the sign for more options.
  11. Tab to the Accept button and press Enter when you have finished
