Hi Stefan - Yes..there are quite a number of dictionary databases already
compiled in SignWriting...for example, James Shepard-Kegl just sent me a
wonderful print-out of a Nicaraguan Sign Language dictionary written in
SignWriting, and Fernando Capovilla and his Deaf crew in Brazil are using
SignWriting in a large dictionary now - real exciting to read it!

So if we have the computer files for your dictionaries - typed with the
SignWriter Computer Program....you will have two files to send me:
"yourfile.dic" and "yourfile.din" ...if you send those as attached files
I can then transfer your signs into SignBank and onto the SignBankSite...so
we could begin building a database for DGS.

If there is anyone else who has a SignWriting dictionary and you would like
to place it online, just tell me...and in time I will be happy to do
it...slowly, one sign at a time :-)

Now I must get back to printing books - I have really enjoyed chatting!!

Have a great evening everyone -

Valerie ;-)
